Yerba Mate Tea Taragüi MateXperience won the prize for Innovation in Paris SIAL ´22

SIAL 2022, the most important trade fair of the food industry, granted Taragüi Yerba Mate tea the prize for Innovation in the Non Alcoholic beverages category. It is the first time that an Argentine product receives this award.

SIAL is a leading trade show for the food and beverage industry and an important meeting point for professionals wishing to keep abreast of the latest developments and opportunities in the food and beverage sector.

Buenos Aires, October 3, 2022. With their product to make mate tea become famous in the world, Taragüi, the leading yerba mate tea brand, was awarded the SIAL Innovation 2022 for the best food innovation globally.

The Taragüi Mate Tea Experience, a very practical mate tea kit for beginners launched in January 2021, got the SIAL Innovation prize in the Non Alcoholic drinks category, becoming the first Argentine product to be awarded that prize. 

The MateXperience kit contains a mate, a bombilla and a pack of yerba mate with a 250g Taragüi stick.

This recognition is part of the winning products that will be shown at the SIAL 2022 Fair, which will take place in Paris, France between October 15 and 19.

The Great SIAL Innovation Jury selected 15 winners among a total of 1,800 products enrolled in the contest. The Jury is composed of an independent group of experts in the food industry all over the world. 

During the trade fair, where “Establecimiento Las Marías” will have a Taragüi stand, there will also be a prize Selected by the People among the 15 who received the award.
